UK PS3 (estimated) sales

Well an article I found on the Joystiq sites has an estimated figure for the PS3's first week sales in the UK.

The estimate is 40,000 units. Which is based on the 999% figure shown yesterday. An estimated 4,000 units were sold in the region the week prior to the Slims launch.

40,000 units is the estimated number for the PS3 Slim, but that number is estimated to be 10,000 units less than the PS2 Slim's launch numbers for the UK.

A bunch of estimating there, but gives a good example (I guess) about how Sony's new system is doing.

On the other hand the 360's Pro and Elite price drops seem to have only slightly boosted sales.
Those numbers aren't in either, but I will try to find those out as well.
