Announced at Sony conference at TGS 2009. This service brings the PS3's PlayStation Home to the handheld device.
Create an avatar, invite friends into your PSP Room and chat, listen to music, etc. One feature that might be added to the PSP through the update is an actual friends list. After updating, Room will have an icon added under the PlayStation Network section of the XMB.
