These are just the games I see hitting in 2010 or at least being announced within the year.
Starting off with Sony. I personally think that the tides have changed in Sony's favor. The Slimline model and the price drop aside, the system was seeing a great release line-up throughout 2009. Both exclusive and multiplatform games. Killzone 2, Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5, Batman: Arkham Asylum, LocoRoco 2, Patapon 2, SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny to name a few.
The holiday 2009 release list is also very strong. With LittleBigPlanet GotY edition, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, MotorStorm: Arctic Edge, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time, Gran Turismo PSP and the God of War Collection.
It's clear that Sony is on a massive roll. Selling 550k units in the first week worldwide of the Slim and price drop.
2010 will be the biggest battleground for this current gen console war. A Wii price drop in October 2009 will also be huge.
But I see Sony being the strongest in 2010. God of War III, Final Fantasy XIII (in NA and EU), White Knight Chronicles, Final Fantasy XIV Online.
Sony will have games like Resistance 3, MotorStorm 3 (for PS3), Jak and Daxter for PS3 (by Naughty Dog), ModNation Racers for the PSP, a new Final Fantasy game will also be announced for the PSP. We'll see many Square Enix titles finally move out of the PSN Japanese Playstation Store and into the NA and EU stores. Like Final Fantasy 1 and 2, Tactics, and Front Mission games.
