(The numbers on the right side of the parentheses are the total worldwide sales for the platform)
The PS3 saw a 5% increase in sells week over week. Mainly due to the PS3 "fat" models being sold out and that the only market that would have access to the new Slim model was North America on August 24th. Two day after the week ended and only in a select few retail chains. Gamestop and Amazon.com were the only way to get access to the PS3 Slim before the September 1st launch date for every other store in America and Europe. It will be interesting to see what happens when the Slim numbers get calculated.

9 years on the market and the PS2 is still doing pretty well, but as you can see the price drop it had early in April this year has seemed to have faded.

DS for another week nears the 400k for the week. This handheld is just a sales beast. Unbelievable.
Wii Sports Resort back on top after being dethroned last week by the 360 verison of Madden NFL 10.

For the week the PS3 was the only system to see an increase, but 5% was not enough to offset every other system seeing a drop. Consoles as a whole dropped 9% since last week.
